Now is the time to order your colorful Fall Mums to support the East Hartford Woman’s Club’s annual fundraiser!

The club, a member of the Connecticut and General Federation of Women’s Clubs, has been awarding scholarships to East Hartford High School graduates for many years, and also supports a number of civic causes, charitable volunteer efforts and projects throughout the year.

The Fall Mum fundraiser is important to all of those efforts. It will take place on one day: Saturday, September 17 at Leonard’s farm at the former farm stand at 264 Forest Street from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Pre-order your mums which are available in Yellow, Bronze, Red Maroon, White, and Purple, for only $6.50 a plant for the 9” pots, by contacting either Marie Zerba at 860-568-7535 or Marge Leonard at 860-568-4499. Deadline for mum orders is September 12.

Checks for pre-ordered mums, made out to “EHWC”, should be mailed directly to Marge Leonard, 264 Forest St. East Hartford, CT 06118.

Then, on Saturday, September 17 come down to the farm stand and pick your mums up between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at 264 Forest St. from the appreciative EHWC volunteers.

NOTE: EARLY PICK UP IS AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 FROM 1 TO 4 PM FOR THOSE UNABLE TO PICK UP ON SATURDAY.
